SOCIAL EMOTIONAL LEARNING (SEL) FOR STUDENTS

 

PRIDE LIFESKILLS TRAINING

This training prepares teachers, school counselors and other programme providers to effectively implement the LifeSkills Training curriculum. Participants will learn about the programme philosophy, gain knowledge to deliver the programme with fidelity and enhance confidence and skills to maximize results.

PATHS TEACHER WORKSHOP

This specialized, two-day training for up to 30 persons is designed to engage the whole-school in social emotional learning for students. Teachers and staff will learn how to effectively teach PATHS programme in their classrooms and school. Training days may be consecutive or conducted with an introductory day, and a follow-up day 4 - 8 weeks after implementation.

 SEL WORKSHOPS FOR ADULTS/PARENTS

 

REBUILDING OUR COMMUNITY (ROC) WORKSHOP FOR EDUCATORS

This one day workshop focuses on rebuilding relationships and supporting social and emotional learning in order to create welcoming environments and a sense of safety for both students and their families. It will focus on strengthening relationships in the classroom and nurturing caring relationships in schools with students and educators.

SEL FOR TEACHERS

This workshop is designed for teachers to have a moment to pause, reflect and be mindfully create a self-care plan for daily implementation, to assist with the stressors of being an educator.

Time: 1 hour per session/5 weeks

SEL for Parents

 

This workshop engages parents in learning about the core competencies of SEL. It can be provided as a stand alone program or as a compliment to the PATHS Program for students.

Time: 1 hour per session /6 weeks

LifeSkills Training Parent Programme

This highly interactive programme is for parents of students transitioning from P6 through M2. It focuses on enhancing parent skills on adolescent drug use, ways to convey a clear anti-drug message, family communication, parental monitoring and how to help children develop self-management and social skills.
